ABOUT OUR CAMP

Welcome,

Join Camp 911 for a week of fun, life-saving activities, educational class sessions, crafts, games and weekly field trips to gain experience and learn the skills necessary to respond to a variety of emergency situations, all while earning your Babysitting Basics (Juniors) or Emergency First Aid certificate (Seniors).  It’s a week your kids will not want to miss!

This summer Campers will be travelling to ORNGE headquarters to learn, see, and tour the helicopter ambulance and learn about the differences between aerial and land-based first response.  On top of the field trips, campers will have presentations from a variety of other first responders throughout the community of Thunder Bay.

Campers that attend will also leave with specific certifications being taught by one of SJA's finest instructors.

With educational class sessions, crafts, games and weekly field trips to observe and learn about first responders' duties here in our city, it’s a great opportunity for your kids to gain important experiences and learn valuable skills, all while having tons of fun throughout the week!
