Our Junior Campers will earn their Babysitting Basics Certificate upon completion of the week long summer camp.
Babysitting is a job with significant responsibility and the Babysitting Basics Course helps prospective babysitters learn the skills they need. It teaches the new babysitter the necessary skills to provide care to children in a variety of situations. Participants will also learn skills for making correct decisions when dealing with behaviour, caring for a sick child, and what to ask before caring for a child with disabilities. The course emphasizes safety rules, responding to emergencies, and developing leadership skills.

Senior Campers that are registered will earn their Emergency First Aid with Level A CPR and AED. This program is suitable for anyone interested in learning or refreshing their knowledge of CPR techniques and medical techniques. Students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult whose heart has stopped or who is choking, and learn to recognize signs and symptoms of a stroke. Additionally, this course will educate students on the use of an automated external defibrillation (AED).
CPR (Level A) certificates are issued upon successful completion.
